AR Woman Jo Anne Ward ID’d As Victim In Tuesday El Dorado Single-Vehicle Submersion Crash

UNION COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Jo Anna Ward, of Crossett, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday afternoon crash in Union County.

Ward, 30, was killed in a single-vehicle submersion crash near El Dorado on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports, Ward was operating a Toyota Corolla on US Highway 82 near El Dorado, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over into a body of water.

The car came to a rest on its top and became fully submerged.

Ward was pronounced dead at the scene.
