GLASGOW, KY. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Scott Marr, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, has been identified as the male suspect who died while being taken into custody by Glasgow police Tuesday night.
Marr, 35, died while being arrested by Glasgow officials on Tuesday night outside a residence.
According to police, officers responded to a “burglary in progress” call on Cleveland Avenue in Glasgow. When they arrived, Marr was observed outside the residence around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. At some point, Marr reportedly experienced a “medical emergency.”
Marr was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
A cause of death was not provided as of Wednesday morning.

An autopsy has been scheduled at the State Medical Examiner’s office in Louisville.
