MARIETTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Dennis Wolk, of Cartersville, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Marietta on Tuesday night.

Wolk, 63, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a box truck Tuesday in Marietta.

According to officials, Wolk was operating a Harley Davidson Electra Glide on I-75 near Gresham Road, when he came into contact with the rear of a Peterbilt box truck operated by Bennie Demps, 49, of Atlanta.

Wolk, who was ejected from the bike during the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

Police do not expect any charges to be filed in the case.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has information related to this crash to contact Marietta Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Unit Investigator St. Onge at 770-794-5352.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
