LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — University of Nebraska-Lincoln employee, Ronald White, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash Friday morning.

White, 52, was killed Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Lincoln.

According to authorities, White was operating a vehicle on 27th near Vine, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3 a.m. Friday.

The vehicle then collided with the Moose’s Tooth building, located at 720 N 27th St in Lincoln.

White was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

Officials say, White did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt.

White worked as a food service manager on UNL East Campus.

According to reports, White was a New Orleans, Louisiana native.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
