DUBOIS COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Keith Allen Thewes, of Celestine, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday off-road vehicle crash in Dubois County.
Thewes, 55, was killed while traveling on an ORV Monday afternoon in Celestine.
According to officials, Thewes was operating an ORV, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle wrecked.
Thewes was discovered injured by a family member near 820 E and IN-164 Monday afternoon.
Thewes was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
