WALTHAM, MA. (THECOUNT) — A 25-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Waltham Sunday morning.
Police are investigating a deadly incident that left one person dead on Sunday morning in Waltham.
According to officials, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash around 2:46 a.m. on River Street. Once on-scene, a wrecked vehicle was discovered near the Watertown line, police said.
Emergency crews assisted at the scene and had the driver, identified as a 25-year-old man, taken to the hospital for serious injures, police said, reports WHDH.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the violent wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
