GOSHEN, IN. (THECOUNT) — Ivan Pedroza, of Goshen, Indiana, has been identified as the teenage victim of a fatal shooting Thursday night.
Pedroza, 19, was shot dead while inside a vehicle in Goshen on Thursday night on Cross Street.
According to the Goshen Police Department, officers responded to a call of shots fired on the 500 block of Cross Street in Goshen around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, Pedroza was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the rear passenger seat of a vehicle.
Medics at the scene attempted to provide aid but Pedroza was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
Police provided no further information on any potential suspects or a motive in the killing.
