OPENIKA, AL. (THECOUNT) — Jerry Dozier, of Smiths Station, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash near Opelika Wednesday.
Dozier, 51, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Interstate 85 near Opelika.
According to reports, Dozier was operating a Toyota Camry on I-85 around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over.
Dozier, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the wreck, and was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
According to Facebook, Dozier worked at Kia Motors America.
