SIMPSONVILLE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Henry Armbruster Jr., of Simpsonville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday afternoon vehicle crash in Greenville County.
Armbruster, 64, was killed Monday in a single-vehicle crash in Simpsonville on Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Armbruster was operating a vehicle on Highway 14 near Pollard Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
Armbruster was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Armbruster was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to WYFF.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
