PRESTON, CT. (THECOUNT) — Demir Prevalla, of Watertown, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash near Preston Tuesday night.
Prevalla, 60, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night.
According to police, Prevalla was operating a vehicle traveling on Harris Fuller Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Tuesday night. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment causing it to go airborne. The vehicle then collided with a tree before coming to a rest.
Prevalla was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
