BELTON, SC. (THECOUNT) — Kevious Delph, of Honea Path, SC, has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle crash in Belton early Sunday morning.
Delph, 26, died in a single-vehicle crash on Dorchester Road in Belton overnight, according to the Anderson County coroner.
According to reports, Delph was operating a vehicle on Dorchester Road in Belton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree and rolled over multiple times around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Delph was partially ejected from his vehicle during the crash.
Delph was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
The coroner said speed and alcohol appear to be contributing factors to the crash, reports WYFF.
The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
