FAIRVIEW PARK, IN. (THECOUNT) — Ryan Lawrence Sutton, of Terre Haute, Indiana, has been identified as the victim killed in a Wednesday night crash in Fairview Park, Indiana.
Sutton, 30, was operating a vehicle on State Road 63, when a vehicle driven by Amanda Swinford, 32, of Clinton, attempted to cross in his path near Washington Street.
Swinford was treated at a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
Sutton was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
According to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office, Swinford said she did not see Sutton’s vehicle before crossing the road, and that his headlights may not have been on, reports MyWabashValley.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
