FAIRFAX, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy D. Legg of Anchorage, Alaska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Atchison County, Missouri vehicle crash Tuesday night.
Legg, 28, was killed in a two-vehicle crash that injured two others in a head-on collision in Fairfax late Tuesday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Legg was operating a Buick LeSabre on U.S. Highway 59 near Fairfax, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and struck a Chrysler Pacifica, driven by 65-year-old Glenn K. Rolf of Tarkio, head-on around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Rolf and a passenger, 64-year-old Barbara C. Rolf of Tarkio, were taken by Atchison Holt EMS to Community Hospital Fairfax with serious injuries, reports KMA.
Legg was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
According to Facebook, Legg was originally from Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
