CHESTER, PA. (THECOUNT) — Randy Maultsby, of New Castle, Delaware, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday evening shooting in Chester.

Maultsby, 23, was found shot dead in the street along with two other young people who were injured Saturday in Chester.

According to officials, Maultsby was discovered lying face down in the street while suffering from apparent gunshot injuries around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of W 7th St & Lamokin St, in Chester.

Maultsby was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

While on the scene, police located a second victim, identified as Damar Macklin, 18, with a gunshot wound to the back. Officers were then approached by a third victim, an unnamed juvenile, with a gunshot wound to his shoulder/neck area, reports DelcoTimes.

Police reported the teen’s conditions were listed as fair as of late Saturday.

Police say a Kia Optima with heavy damage to the rear was possibly involved in the incident.

Police did not disclose a motive for the shooting.

No suspects are under arrest.
