DELRAY BEACH, FL. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Eades, of Jupiter, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday motorcycle crash in Delray Beach.
“Tom” Eades, 63, died Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash on Florida’s Turnpike near Delray Beach, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, Eades was operating a Harley-Davidson Road Glide on the turnpike at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday near the Atlantic Avenue exit when he came into contact with a Ford Civic.
Eades’ bike then collided with a Ford F-150.
Eades was thrown off the motorcycle during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
