SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Grace Revels, of Lancaster, SC, and Mia Stokes of Charlotte, NC, have been identified as the victims in a double fatal vehicle crash in Spartanburg Friday night.
Revels, 20 and Stokes, 18, were both killed in a pickup truck crash involving a Toyota who had crossed center lines near SC-295 in Spartanburg Friday night.
According to reports, Revels and Stokes were traveling in a Ford pickup truck, with two other individuals, when for unknown reasons, the Toyota, drove into opposing lanes on Woodley Road and struck them head-on around 10:12 p.m. Friday.
All five people involved suffered unknown injuries. Four were transported to area hospitals.
Troopers say one person in the Ford passed away on scene, while another passed away at the hospital, reports FoxCarolina.
The condition of the other passengers was not provided as of Saturday morning.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
