NAPA, CA. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Patland, of Rohnert Park, California, has been identified as the victim killed in a Sunday night vehicle crash, according to Monday afternoon reports.

Patland, 23, was killed in a head-on crash involving an Infiniti and a Camaro Sunday night in Napa, reports Napa County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.

Officials arrived to reports of a two-vehicle crash near Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive around 7:30 p.m. and discovered both cars with displaying major damage.

Patland, who was operating the Camaro, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the crash.

Two people were in the Infiniti and suffered injuries described as moderate to major, according to Patch.

According to Facebook, Patland worked at Patland Estate Vineyards and also for Maier Racing. He studied Wine Business at Sonoma State University.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
