JASPER COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Chad Highfill, the man reported missing on Jan 20, has been found dead, according to Missouri officials on Wednesday.
The father of Highfill reported him missing on Jan. 28, 2020.
Highfill had kidney issues and missed a dialysis appointment on Jan. 27.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says he was last seen at his home near 96 Hwy and CR 96, outside of Carthage.
Today, Jan. 29, search teams used drones and men on horses to help search for Chad in the area around his home, reports KOAM.
Around 12:30 p.m., they found Chad’s body.
The Sheriff’s Office says no foul play is suspected at this time.
