LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — Tanner Bramman, of Hastings, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash involving two semi-tractors late Thursday.
Bramman, 25, a member of the Army National Guard, was killed late Thursday when the semi he was operating collided with another big-rig in Lincoln.
According to reports, the crash occurred near the 48th Street exit off Interstate 80, when two 18-wheelers came into contact around 10:40 p.m. Thursday night.
Slick roads have been cited as a possible cause of the collision.
Bramman and 49-year-old Bradley Moss, 49, of Aurora, both were headed east on I-80 when they lost control of their trucks and collided.
The involved vehicles, both of which had tandem trailers, collided in the median.
Bramman, a new father, was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Moss was not injured in the crash, reports Omaha.
According to Facebook, Bramman drove for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., and was an active member of the Army National Guard.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
