FRESNO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — An unidentified woman is dead in a horror workplace accident after her hair apparently became entangled in a raisin processing machine at Del Rey Packing Co Dehydrator near Fresno, California Friday.
Fresno County sheriff’s officials say they responded to reports of an industrial accident at the plant involving a female victim Friday afternoon around 1 p.m. in Sanger. When they arrived, they found the woman suffering injuries after she became caught in a piece of raisin processing machinery.
The plant is located at 3693 South Indianola Avenue in Sanger, CA.
Cal OSHA has taken over the investigation, according to ABC30.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
