NASHVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Police in Nashville say a woman was robbed by an armed pair, a teen and a boy “as young as 10,” Tuesday, according to Wednesday morning reports.

The victim, who has not been identified, was robbed at gunpoint in East Nashville on Tuesday by a teenager and another juvenile police said could be 10 years old or younger.

The woman told police she was walking near the intersection of South 14th Street and Russell Street at around 8:30 p.m. when she was approached by by two male juveniles, the older one armed with a long gun. The woman said the armed suspect looked to be around 15 years old and the younger of the two suspects looked 10 years old, reports FOX17.

The two juveniles took the woman’s purse at gunpoint and fled the scene on-foot.

The purse was later located, but the victim’s cell phone was stolen.

Police said they set up a perimeter and K-9 units were on the scene, however, no one was taken into custody as of Wednesday morning.
