KOOTENAI COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Lucas, of Hayden, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a vehicle crash near Twin Lakes, Idaho on Saturday.
Lucas, 18, was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Tytus Aske, when the vehicle wrecked on State Highway 41 in Twin Lakes Saturday.
According to Idaho State Police, Aske was operating a vehicle on ID-41, when for unknown reasons, he lost control and crossed centerlines. The vehicle then traveled into opposing lanes and made contact with a pickup truck operated by 68-year-old Ronnie Vaughn.
Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
All in the victims were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, reports KHQ.
The other victims suffered unknown injuries that wee not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
