STOCKTON, MD. (THECOUNT) — Erica Lynn Wolff, of George Island Landing Rd, has been identified as the bicyclist killed in Stockton, MD, Sunday night.
Wolff, 43, was traveling on a bicycle with her 9-year-old child, when she was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Stockton.
According to Maryland State Police, Wolff was riding a bike with her juvenile son when she was struck Sunday around 5:30 p.m., by a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, operated by Charlie Marie Shaw of Greenbackville.
The fatal incident occurred on Stockton Road near Wesley Road, in Stockton, according to DelmarvaNow.
Shaw and the child were not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
