TEHRAN, IRAN. (THECOUNT) — Iranian intelligence agencies reportedly threaten family members of deceased Ukrainian 737 crash victims – Not to provide press interviews – That is if they want the bodies of their loved ones returned to them.
The agency, who made the threat on Twitter, warned family members of crash victims not communicate with Persian foreign media about the incident that killed over 170 people.
“According to reports received by Iran International English, special services in Iran warned families of victims with Iranian citizenship not to give interviews to Persian media outside Iran if they want to receive the remains of their loved ones,” the statement said.
President of Ukraine promised to return the bodies of all the dead Ukrainians. The bodies of Ukrainians who died in a plane crash should be returned next week, reports 112International.
