NEW PORT RICHEY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Talotta, of New Port Richey, Florida, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Saturday morning by a suspect hit-and-run driver.
Talotta, 26, was struck and killed early Saturday morning by a hit-and-run driver, according to officials.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, police are searching for the driver that struck and killed Talotta while he was on-foot in the area of Little Road in Pasco County Saturday morning.
FHP said, the vehicle, believed to be a silver or gray Toyota, was traveling on Little Road around 1 a.m. approaching Heritage Lakes Boulevard, when it hit Talotta.
FHP said Talotta stepped into the path of the driver and was struck and killed, reports WFLA.
