FORT WAYNE, IN. (THECOUNT) — John Patrick Langin, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Interstate 69 vehicle crash Thursday night.

Langin, 49, was killed in a crash on I-69 Thursday evening near Dupont Road in Fort Wayne.

According to Fort Wayne officials, Langin was operating a vehicle traveling west on I-69 north, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed center lines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with the center median causing it to roll over before coming to a rest on its roof.

Two women were hurt and had to be freed from the crumpled car, reports WPTA.

Langin was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

No further details of the crash were provided by officials as of Friday morning.
