EVANS MILLS, NY. (THECOUNT) — Lexi Morgan, of Three Mile Bay, and Gabriel Otero, of Theresa, has been identified as the victims in a double-fatal single-vehicle crash near Evans Mills Tuesday morning.
Morgan, 17 and 16-year-old Otero, were killed and two other young people injured, following a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on Dutch Settlement Road near Le Ray.

According to officials, a Cadillac sedan was traveling Dutch Settlement Road shortly after midnight, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.
The vehicle then traveled down an embankment and came to a rest after coming into contact with a substantial tree.
Two rear seat passengers were ejected from the vehicle, reports WWNY.
Both teen were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two front seat occupants were injured. Kenneth Perez, 19, of Evans Mills and 22-year-old Christina McKeown of Theresa were both transported to an area hospital for treatment of multiple broken bones.
Troopers say their injuries were not life-threatening.
High school principal Brian Moore confirmed that two Indian River students died in a car crash overnight, but stopped short of confirming the names.
Police say they have not determined who was operating the vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
