LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — The Screen Actors Guild’s headquarters in L.A. and NYC were evacuated Tuesday following a phone threat related to President Trump and U.S. tensions with Iran.

TMZ is reporting that someone called SAG’s office in Manhattan just after noon PT and threatened an attack, saying something to the effect of “I’m going to blow up the L.A. and NY SAG Offices.”

However, our law enforcement sources say the threat was less specific, though still plenty terrifying. We’re told the caller said he was unhappy with POTUS and the situation with Iran, following the drone attack that killed Gen. Soleimani.

We’re told SAG deemed the threat credible, immediately evacuated at least the L.A. building and got cops involved.

In L.A., the bomb squad is on the scene, conducting a sweep of the SAG-Aftra building.
