COVINGTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — On Tuesday, local Covington, Kentucky station Fox19 reported that CNN has agreed to settle the suit brought by Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann.
The amount paid to the youngster was not disclosed but Sandmann had filed a $275 million lawsuit against the news media giant.
“The amount of the settlement was not made public during a hearing at the federal courthouse in Covington, Kentucky,” reports CNSNews.
Sandmann’s suits against The Washington Post and NBC Universal regarding their coverage of the same incident are still pending.
