AUGUSTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Anthony Henderson has been arrested at a home in Augusta, on Saturday, January 4 at around 8:45 a.m. over the double-murder of Graniteville, South Carolina woman Mel’isha Jackson and her 1-year-old son, Ejiah.
Henderson was arrested at 131 Greene Street, in Augusta, and transported to the Richmond County Jail where he was charged with double-murder, according to officials.

The arrest comes following a deadly shooting at Kalmia Apartments in Graniteville on December 17, 2019.
Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries. Her 1-year-old was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Two other suspects are also being sought, reports WJBF.
