NORMAN, OK. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Trent, the man accused in the murder of a Norman, Oklahoma murder of a woman’s toddler, was found dead in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge Saturday morning.
Trent, 38, was found dead on Saturday morning after he was sought over the killing the 2-year-old child of his girlfriend earlier this week.
The suspect’s truck was found on the refuge around 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, reported KSWO.
The manhunt for Trent included personnel from the Comanche County Sheriff’s Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Wildlife Refuge, Norman Police Department and the FBI.
A cause of death was not provided by officials.
