AUDUBON, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Audubon, New Jersey “Shamrock Deli” owner, Jerry Pastore, was killed Friday evening following a fight over a tip jar.
According to sources, Pastore accused a man of stealing the tip jar during a confrontation outside the deli around 5 p.m. Friday, when the suspect allegedly stabbed him at least once in the neck before fleeing on a bicycle.
Police were called and Pastore was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of stab wounds.
The eatery is located at, 31 S Davis Ave in Audubon, NJ.
So far no arrests have been made and no suspect information was provided.
Pastore has not officially been by named officials as the victim.
Anyone with possible information on the deadly incident should contact police at 911.
