JACKSONVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Zarell Crittenden has been identified as the Jacksonville father killed in a wrong-way crash on New Year’s Day.
Crittenden, 27, was operating a vehicle on Arlington Expressway when he was fatally struck by another car driving the wrong way.
Family members say Crittenden was leaving from bible study at his church, Christian United Baptist Church, when the crash happened, reports ActionNewsJax.
The wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, according to a FHP report. Another car was involved in the crash. That driver was not hurt.
