LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Blod Matsoumou has been identified as the man taken into custody following a fatal New Year’s Day shooting in Louisville, Kentucky.
The unidentified victim was shot dead in a Valley Station neighborhood a few hours into the new year.
The shooting occurred in the 12000 block of Valley Meadow Way shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials said the victim is a man in his 20s, reports WLKY.
Police said, Matsoumou, 29, was detained at the scene as a person of interest and was placed into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
