SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (THECOUNT) — Angela Rosales, of Highland, CA, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Bernardino on Sunday night, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.

Rosales, 30, was on-foot in the area of W 5th St in San Bernardino, CA, when an unidentified driver fatally struck her as she attempted to cross the street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

According to reports Rosales was walking on the roadway near Ramona Avenue when a vehicle struck her on Sunday.

As a result of the collision, Rosales suffered critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries, reports FontanaHeraldNews.

It is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in this collision.

The fatal incident remains under investigation.
