TX Teen Krista Reese Shot In Head This Morning At Midway Mall Already Released From Hospital

SHERMAN, TX. (KXII) – Krista Reese, of Wichita Falls, is lucky to be alive after being shot in the head early Sunday morning in a mall parking lot in Sherman, Texas.

We are now learning, the teen is so lucky, she has already been released from the hospital and is now resting at home. According to police, the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. in the parking lot at Roozie’s Studio Bar.

Reese was in the parking area of the dance club when someone pulled up in a vehicle and opened fire, striking the young woman in the head.

After being rushed into surgery at an area hospital, doctors removed all but a fragment of a bullet. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Reese was released from the hospital around 4 a.m.

Sherman police are searching for three persons of interest after a woman was shot in the head in the parking lot of Midway Mall in Sherman early Sunday morning, reports KXII.

Police and witnesses say at least one other person was injured.

The condition of that individual is unknown.

Police say they have three persons of interest for the shooting.
