CHATTANOOGA, TN. (THECOUNT) — Xavier Oliver of Chattanooga, TN, has been identified as the victim fatally shot on a Chattanooga street on Christmas Eve, according to Thursday reports.
“Zay” Oliver, 31, was killed in a Tuesday night shooting on Vinewood Drive in Chattanooga.
Chattanooga Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 3400 block of Vinewood Drive around 11 p.m. When they arrived, Oliver was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
At this time, there is no known motive. Officials offered no suspect information.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
