ZANESVILLE, OH. (THECOUNT) — Robert Tokie II, of Zanesville, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Christmas eve single-vehicle crash, according to reports.
Tokie, 28, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on US-40 near Interstate 70 on December 24.

According to officials, Tokie was operating a Kia Spectra around 8 p.m., when for unknown reasons, possible alcohol related, crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to roll over.
Tokie was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Muskingum County Coroner.
ZanesvilleTimesRecorder reported that alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash.
According to the crash report, Tokie was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
