LUBBOCK, TX. (THECOUNT) — David Surber has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck Monday, according to reports.
Surber, 33, was killed while operating a motorcycle on East 82nd Street around 12:30 p.m. when he came into contact with a pickup truck pulling a trailer.
Surber was ejected from the bike during the collision causing him and his bike to strike a roll-off dumpster traveling in the opposite direction, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
Surber was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The Major Crash Unit investigation is ongoing, reports EverythingLubbock.
