ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Chayce Gobert of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night vehicle crash in St. Martin Parish, according to Monday reports.
Gobert, 26, was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on LA Hwy 347 in St. Martin Parish.

The crash occurred on Sunday around 11 p.m. near Clayton Castille Rd & LA-347 in Parish Governing Authority District 5, LA.
Gobert was traveling in a Honda as a passenger when it was involved in a wreck on Poydras Hwy.
According to officials, the Honda, for unknown reasons, crossed centerline and exited the roadway. It was then struck head-on by Ram pickup truck.
Troopers say the driver of the Accord may have been attempting to turn onto Clayton Castille Road when the crash occurred.
Gobert was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the Accord and Ram were properly restrained and suffered minor injuries, reports KATC.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
