Delray Beach Man Adam Mizrach Arrested For Stabbing Roommate’s Dog Has Long Rap Sheet

DELRAY BEACH, FL. (THECOUNT) — Adam Mizrach, the Delray Beach man arrested Monday for animal cruelty after stabbing his roommate’s dog, has a long list of arrests going back years.

Investigators say 33-year-old Mizrach was naked when he stabbed a pet dog multiple times in the neck with a large knife while at a home he shared with the animal’s owner, 58-year-old Interior Designer, Kimberly Armstrong, on Monday.

Police responded Monday morning to a home located at, 3843 Sherwood Boulevard, for an unknown disturbance.

When officials arrived, they discovered “Shiloh” the dog bleeding profusely while suffering from multiple lacerations to his neck.

The dog suffered severe injuries and was rushed into surgery. His condition was unknown as of Tuesday morning.

“A veterinarian said Shiloh received multiple deep lacerations near his jugular vein and carotid artery, along with lacerations to his chin and right shoulder and needed emergency surgery.”

According to Armstrong, Mizrach has been “renting a room” at her residence when the stabbing occurred.

Armstrong said she was lying in bed when she heard Shiloh “scream/yelp multiple times,” reports WPTV.

Mizrach is now under arrest for animal cruelty (cause cruel death, pain, and suffering to an animal).

Mizrach refused to attend his first appearance in court on Tuesday morning.

A public defender said Mizrach is not doing well and is unstable. The state called Mizrach “a monster.”

Mizrach has a long list of arrests going back to at least 2016.

In his current arrest, a judge ordered Mizrach to undergo a mental health evaluation. He’s being held on no bond for now, but could have another court appearance on Friday depending on the outcome of the evaluation.
