NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — Ron Leibman, who famously played Jennifer Aniston‘s mean spirited “Friends” father, Dr. Leonard Green, – died Friday at 82.

Leibman also had starring roles in major motion pictures, such as, “Norma Rae,” “Slaughterhouse-Five” and “Where’s Poppa?.” He also had a recurring role as “Dr. Lior Plepler” on “The Sopranos.”

Leibman was also a well-known Broadway actor winning a Tony Award in 1993 for his Broadway performance of infamous lawyer Roy Cohn in Tony Kushner’s AIDs drama “Angels in America.”

No details on his passing were provided as of Saturday morning.
