PENSACOLA, FL. (THECOUNT) — Officials say, the suspect in a Friday morning shooting at a Florida naval station was an aviation student from Saudi Arabia, according to reports.

Officials have stopped short of calling the attack terrorism.

The shooter reportedly opened fire inside a classroom in an attack that left at least four people dead and multiple wounded

Suspect has not been identified by name.

As of 7:15 a.m., Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reports an on-going active shooter situation at NAS Pensacola.

There are reports of injuries.

No further information was immediately made available.
