SC Men Lashawn Martin & Daniel Jimenez Shot Dead In Anderson Monday ‘Separate Incidents’

ANDERSON, SC. (THECOUNT) — Larendas Lasha Martin and Daniel Jimenez have been identified as the victims in a pair of shooting Monday night in Anderson, South Carolina, according to reports.

“Lashawn” Martin, 35, and Jimenez, 23, were both found suffering from gunshot injuries in separate incidences Monday night, according to officials.

Lashawn was involved in the first shooting that occurred around 6:15 p.m. Monday at Southwood and West Market Streets.

Lashawn was transported to an area hospital via private vehicle. He later died in surgery.

Anderson Police have not said if there are any suspects in that shooting.

The second shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Belton Woods Apartments.

Two people were shot in the parking lot, according to police.

Daniel Jimenez, 23, of Anderson, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to the hospital, reports WYFF.

Police have not released information on any suspects in this case.

The shootings are not believed to be related, according to the coroner.
