BROOKLYN, NY. (THECOUNT) — Oliver Askia has been identified as the victim fatally shot outside Krystal Bar & Lounge in Brooklyn Sunday, according to reports.
Askia, 26, was fatally shot outside the popular Bronx nightclub, officials said Sunday.
Askia was shot once in the chest at the saloon located on University Ave. near Featherbed Lane in Morris Heights about 10:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Askia was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Askia, who lived in East New York, Brooklyn, was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center but couldn’t be saved, reports NYDailyNews.
No one is currently in custody and no suspect description or motive was provided by officials as of Sunday morning.
