DEMOREST, GA. (THECOUNT) — Allan Hansen, from Demorest, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday single-vehicle crash in Habersham County, according to local reports.
Hansen, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle traffic accident on Cannon Bridge Road (GA 105) in Habersham County on Friday.
According to officials with the Georgia State Patrol, Hansen was operating a Jeep Wrangler Sport on Cannon Bridge Road around 2 p.m. Friday, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. It then entered a culvert causing it to roll over, ejecting Hanson.
“The vehicle [a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport] was traveling south on Cannon Bridge Road and traveled off the west shoulder. After traveling off the shoulder, the Jeep struck a driveway culvert and overturned,” Coffee said in an email statement, reports accesswdun.
Officials said Hansen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
