DAYTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Dandre Hill of Dayton, Ohio, has been identified as the victim fatally shot inside a vehicle Friday night, according to officials.
“Deandre Hill,” 32, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds while inside a vehicle near Forsythe Ave and Queens Avenue Friday night before 6:20 p.m.
Police say, Hill was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital after being shot Friday.
He was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Homicide investigators are working to determine whether the shooter was in a car as well or standing outside when the shots were fired, reports WHIO.
Officers found as many as 15 shell casings at the scene.
Officials say a preliminary investigation shows Hill and the shooter may have known each other, but it’s too early to identify a suspect.
