CEDAR FALLS, IA. (THECOUNT) — Missing Waterloo woman, Courtney Elsbernd, has been found deceased late Sunday, according to officials on Monday.
Elsbernd, 27, was found unresponsive on-campus at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She had last been seen on Thursday.
On Monday, University of Northern Iowa officials indicated that Elsbernd was discovered deceased in her vehicle in a remote parking lot on the campus late Sunday.
No foul play is suspected.
“The University is deeply saddened by the news of Courtney’s passing and extends condolences to her family,” UNI officials said in a prepared statement, reports WCFCourier
