DARKE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Kim Hoop Fugett, of Greenville, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Monday morning vehicle crash in Darke County, according to reports.

Fugett, 45, was killed in a vehicle crash occurring on SR-121 and Wolfrey Road near New Paris, Ohio Sunday.

Deputies responded to reports of a vehicle crash in the area of 9700 SR-121 around 7:30 am. When they arrived, first responders determined a Town and Country van driven by a 45-year-old Versailles man was headed south on SR-121 when he collided with Fugett’s northbound Pontiac Montana van.

Fugett was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma.

The driver of the Town and Country van was taken to Wayne Hospital by Gettysburg Rescue, where he was treated and released, reports WDTN.

The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
