ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Tommie Jackson has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in St. Louis County, Missouri early Saturday morning, according to reports.
Jackson, 33, was killed in a crash early Saturday morning around 12:30 a.m. in St. Louis County.
The accident occurred on I-55 near Weber Road in St. Louis, when for unconfirmed reasons, Jackson’s vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck a grouping of trees before coming to a rest.
The force of the violent crash caused Jackson’s vehicle to literally split into two separate pieces, according to witnesses.
He crashed into two trees which caused his car to break into two parts, reports KSDK.
Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
